i have a shit ton of n2n audio bootlegs and listening to ppl sniffling and trying not to cry is always my fave part lmaoIt’s one of the reasons why I went for a different Wicked bootleg to buy instead of Kristin Chenoweth’s last show. ahahahah I reallllyy wanted it, but then every time I watched the youtube videos, I lose it.
yes the fireworks! one time the fireworks were so fucking much here was an entire blackout in the neighbourhood for like 2 days because they hits some sort of electricity thing and everyone lost power for a couple days. it was hilarious.
AHAHAHAH I could see that happening :D AHAHAHA OMG. Blackouts during a rainy day though. All my cousins came over and we all showered and played in the rain AHAHAHAHAHH I really miss vacationing in the Philippines.
The thing with the Philippines is, they are pretty happy people, even with the crazy complaints about everyone in the government. Have them go through a typhoon, and thunderstorm, floods, blackouts… they find a way to smile about things. They just make Christmas so much happier and it really makes me sad that not everyone in the western world does it? D: I mean, I was born and raised in the middle east. The muslims there were much happier during Christmas than people here.
We had these palestinian neighbours in our apartment floor who knocked on our door a few weeks before Christmas asking us to help them with the tree. They aren’t christians, but they enjoy the holidays and the message it brings. And they’re so wonderful about it, too. We get people knocking on our doors and giving us food during any religious holiday. It’s great.
oh man christmas is so fun in the Philippines. new years too!!!! like i have so many fond memories of celebrating christmas when i was younger and if i think about my christmases in canada i don’t remember having as much fun.
I’ll be honest though. I was a little culture-shocked the one time we spent Christmas in the Philippines in 2005. That was our very firsrt one there (my brother and I). The days coming up to it were GREAT. But when XMas came along, there were HUNDREDS of people in my aunt’s house and I got scared because I didn’t know a lot of them and spent most of the night watching horror movies in my cousin’s room.
Looking back, I probably should have enjoyed it a lot more because Christmas in Canada really sucks :( The one time I really enjoyed it was when the filipinos at my high school had a huge Christmas gathering. No alcohol, but lots of food, and our friends played their band, I played bass for the girls’ band. And there were over 60 of us in there and it was AWESOME. With our family is great too, because of our famjams. But every where else is so depressing :/
OMG NEW YEAR’S THO. NEW YEARS. ALL THE FUCKING FIREWORKS I GOT TO LIGHT UP. I MEAN, IN RETROSPECT, A LOT OF IT WAS PROBABLY ILLEGAL AND REALLY DANGEROUS BUT OMFFGGGGG. THE WHOLE STREET WAS FILLED WITH EVERYONE LIGHTING UP FIREWORKS AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THERE WAS LECHON AND ASDFASDFASDF
wow ignore that question since i just read your sidebar. i legit thought you were 18/19 tbh
Do I seem that young? XD TBH I was mistaken as a ninth grader during my last year in high school (ugh I was already 20 by then), while my brother (WHO IS TWO YEARS YOUNGER THAN ME) was talked to like an adult. :[
but, like, my height doesn’t help (4’11) nor does the fact that I dress like a 12 year old tomboy most of the time >.>
Holy shit, their Call your Girlfriend was just an IMPROMPTU
i was cheering for japan so i was happy but poor ukraine :(
Cheered for them too! I was hoping either Japan or China get to top two. I was sad when they first announced the scores, because they looked so distraught! But damn, I felt bad for Ukraine and GB, though. It’s giving them something, only to have it taken away. Especially Ukraine :(
i tried to unfollow people and managed to unfollow at least 10 but that didn’t last cause i then immediately followed 5 more blogs on a whim. idk how people who only follow 100 something blogs do it.
Last time I cleaned my blog, I really had to because people were telling me I was missing their posts/messages. I just had too many on my dash. When I did, I ended up following 10+ new blogs the next three days because I just did >_<
It was the worst a few months ago when I had over 500. When people started posting the number of people they followed, and the general consensus seemed to have been not over 250, I knew I had a problem D:
saraa! i have the exact same problem. it sucks!Like, it’d be so much easier to scroll through my dash but asdfasdfadf I like too many blogs >_<
