I was also given the 9/11 issue. I lost the cover from the re-reading, but it was a plain black one.
Idk, it was a hard read but for someone living in the middle east, it was a little bit of an information source in the eyes of an American? It was hard for everyone in the UAE that year. Especially for my muslim friends. I mean, there were a lot of fights that got personal between a lot of people that year over this whole thing. They were afraid. They were angry. All you see on tv for the first few weeks were just hate against muslims in general, and it got in the way of a lot of friends, if I remember.
Oh man. I really wanted to get all four issues, but fucking UAE didn’t have them?! Like, the two Marvel issues they will ALWAYS have are Uncanny X Men and New Avengers. God forbid they try selling more than that. If they do, they only do iy once in five months.
But yeah. The cover is glossy, and the inside pages are SO. DAMN. COLOURFUL. I pick up a lot of issues based on the covers, and I never regret them.

AAAAAAAAAHHH When are we going to get young Bucky in the film thouuughhh? I mean, I loved Sebastian Stan’s portrayal but I would have love to have seen this. With Toro and Namor.
I genuinely don’t understand how Salvador Larroca’s art got so bad. I remember being initially surprised at his artwork in Iron Man because I really liked his stuff of X Treme X-Men. Like, his Storm is probably one of my favourites. I really liked them. Like, look at these and compare them with his shit on Invincible Iron Man.

You know what though, Greg Liefeld’s art back in the 90s was decent enough while Greg Land didn’t used to trace from porn and actually drew well. So.
